在这张专辑中，新日本爱乐交响乐团协奏长西江辰郎（Tatsuo Nishie）、日本交响乐团首席富岡廉太郎（Rentaro Tomioka）与李斯特国际钢琴比赛日本首位冠军岡田将（Masaru Okada），共同演奏了拉威尔、柯达伊（Kodaly Zoltan）与拉赫玛尼诺夫的室内乐作品。拉威尔和拉赫玛尼诺夫的三重奏与柯达伊的二重奏作品各有特色，听众可以在现场版的录音中欣赏到富于变化的音色和情绪，拉近与作曲家的距离。
作曲家简介：
柯达伊（Kodaly Zoltan）生于1882年，著名作曲家、音乐教育家，二十世纪匈牙利音乐界最著名的人物之一，代表作有《匈牙利赞美诗》、《塞凯利家的纺纱房》和《孔雀变奏曲》等。柯伊达获得过两次匈牙利十字勋章，三次柯树特奖金，两次荣誉市民的称号，三个名誉博士学位及名誉院士、名誉教授、优秀艺术家的称号等，是现代研究民间音乐中最杰出的一位音乐家。同时，柯达伊积极倡导歌唱运动并进行教材改革，著名的柯达伊教学法享誉全球。
