青年钢琴家张格菡演奏录制的个人专辑《罗密欧与朱丽叶》由中央音乐学院北京环球音像出版有限公司正式出版并全球数字发行。
普罗科菲耶夫的这套钢琴组曲《罗密欧与朱丽叶》是改编自他创作的同名舞剧，在这部作品中，他运用了其现代派的创作技法，又继承了西欧古典音乐和“新俄罗斯乐派”的传统，把严谨的古典戏剧和他独特的创作手法相结合，使作品不仅具有丰富的音乐表现力，而且音乐形象鲜明，富于民主性和人情化。这套组曲由十首钢琴曲组成，包括了：《民间舞蹈》《场景》《小步舞曲》《少女朱丽叶》《假面舞会》《蒙太古和凯普莱特》《劳伦斯神父》《茂丘西奥》《少女与百合花之舞》《罗密欧与朱丽叶在离别前》，每一首乐曲既是独立的作品，他们又相互关联。谢尔盖·谢尔盖耶维奇·普罗科菲耶夫（Sergey Sergeyevich Prokofiev 1891-1953）是20世纪苏联的作曲家、钢琴家和指挥家。这部由舞剧音乐改编而来的钢琴套曲《罗密欧与朱丽叶》，创作于1937年，是普罗科菲耶夫在钢琴领域进行新探索的成果，作品采用了抒情而优美的旋律，丰富多彩的和声，多样化的节奏，把舞剧音乐的戏剧性、交响性、抒情性的艺术特征通过钢琴表现的淋漓尽致。
