久木田薰，日本大提琴演奏家。1979年生于东京，两岁学习小提琴，三岁学习钢琴，七岁开始练习大提琴。14岁在札幌获得少年大提琴演奏大奖。2001年在久石让亲自导演并配乐的《quartet》中出演大提琴手漆原爱。2002年参与NHK-FM电台的《名曲独奏会》节目。久木田薰师从于前田善彦、毛利伯郎、ヨセフ?ルイツ、河野文昭、山崎律子等名家。
这张专辑里的曲目均选自宫崎骏动画里的主题曲或插曲，像《天空之城》、《飞天红猪侠》、《风之谷》、《幽灵公主》、《魔女宅急便》、《龙猫》、《再见萤火虫》、《哈尔移动城堡》和《千与千寻》等。不过这些并不是电影的原声，而是以久木田熏的大提琴为主要演奏，加上钢琴、小提琴、吉他、手风琴、口琴、三弦琴等乐器伴奏，再以Classic和Tango重新编曲。虽然刚开始因为听惯电影原声而对这种从来没有过的诠释方式有些不习惯，但是后来觉得换个角度来欣赏其实也挺有趣的，像大家熟悉的《MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO》就改为用爵士的手法演奏，《CARRY YOU》就转换成TANGO的风格，《ENVELOPPEE DE TENDRESS》则是用近似于民族音乐的方式呈现，等等。总之，让人听起来悠然自德，格外愉快。
Kawabata is a Japanese cellist. Born in Tokyo in 1979, he studied violin at the age of two, piano at the age of three and cello at the age of seven. At the age of 14, he won the young cello performance award in Sapporo. In 2001, he starred in cellist akihara in Quartet, which was directed and accompanied by jiushirang himself. In 2002, he participated in nhk-fm radio’s “famous music recital” program. He studied under the famous masters such as yoshihihihiko Maeda, Mr. Mauri BORANG, Mr. Kawabata, Mr. Kono, and Mr. Yamazaki.
The tracks in this album are all selected from the theme songs or episodes of Hayao Miyazaki’s animation, such as “city of the sky”, “Flying Red pig”, “valley of the wind”, “Princess ghost”, “devil’s house emergency”, “chinchilla”, “goodbye firefly”, “Hal mobile Castle” and “thousand and thousand”. However, these are not the original sound of the film. Instead, they are mainly played on the Cello by Hiroshi kumata, accompanied by piano, violin, guitar, accordion, harmonica, and three stringed organ, and then rearranged with classic and tango. Although I was not used to this kind of interpretation at the beginning because I was used to listening to the original sound of the film, I found it interesting to appreciate it from a different angle. For example, my neighbor Toro, which is familiar to all of us, was played in jazz style instead, and Carey you was converted into Tango style, envelope De Tedress is presented in a way similar to folk music, and so on. In a word, it makes people feel carefree and happy.
